Let’s Get Started: Drawing a Camel Step by Step
Step 1: Begin with the Camel’s Head
Start by sketching an irregular sideways oval shape on the upper left side of your paper. Ensure that the right side of the oval is larger than the left side. This forms the basic outline of the camel’s head. Don’t forget to draw a curved line at the left bottom of the outline to create the camel’s mouth. To ensure proper placement, you can use intersecting horizontal and vertical lines as reference guides. These lines divide your paper into four sections, with the upper left corner dedicated to the camel’s head.
Step 2: Outline the Camel’s Head and Torso
Proceed by drawing an elongated and narrow curve shape beneath the head to form the camel’s long neck. Then, outline the body with a prominent bump at the top, which is one of the camel’s distinct physical features. Use light strokes when sketching the head and torso, as this will allow for easy erasing of unnecessary lines later on.
Step 3: Add the Hump on the Camel’s Body
