Currently, I utilize an iPad Pro and an Apple Pencil to bring my digital art to life. However, you are more than welcome to use any creative tools you have at hand, such as pen and paper, color pencils, Copic markers, or even Photoshop. The drawing technique remains the same regardless of the medium.

Drawing a Cute Pikachu Face – Step by Step for Beginners

Let’s begin with simple and easy shapes. Start by drawing Pikachu’s head by sketching a small curve like this, which will serve as the top of Pikachu’s head.

Next, draw Pikachu’s cheeks. Create a curve beneath the previous one, embracing the imperfections to further enhance its cuteness.

Take your time with each step, and remember, perfection is not necessary. In fact, imperfect shapes often add to the overall adorable appearance.

Now, proceed to draw Pikachu’s face. Begin with the eyes, capturing the essence of Pikachu’s iconic gaze.

Next, draw a small, cute mouth in the center.

Now it’s time for Pikachu’s signature ears. Embrace the cuteness overload!

Feeling the love already?

Let’s add some color to the ears.

And voila, we’re done!

But wait, let’s bring Pikachu to life by coloring it yellow!

Finally, add two red spots to the cheeks, symbolizing Pikachu’s electric power.

Congratulations! You’ve successfully learned how to draw an adorable Pikachu face step by step.

Feel free to incorporate this drawing into your planner or notebook to witness its charm in person!

For those interested in drawing in a kawaii style and eventually selling clipart or merchandise on Etsy, I implore you to check out this course! It was created by my dear friend Ilaria, whom I’ve known since our early days on Instagram.

Believe it or not, there is a scarcity of good online courses that teach you how to draw kawaii art and subsequently create physical stickers. I’ve searched for a course like this for quite some time, and now it’s finally available!

With Ilaria’s course, you can create your own stickers, print them, and sell them on Etsy or any other platform you desire. She provides invaluable insights into character drawing.

Out of all the courses I have taken, this one stands out as exceptional in terms of cuteness and educational value. The course, delivered in English, is truly amazing!

To get started, you will need a sketchbook, Photoshop, and a graphic tablet to bring these kawaii characters to life. If your goal is to make stickers, a printer and sticker sheets are also necessary. However, even if you merely want to draw kawaii characters, this course is perfect for you!
