When Dempsey was abandoned and chained to a pole outside a pharmacy in Georgia, he was just 7 months old. The dog had been left behind since he had injuries and was ill. Due to his state, nobody wanted to approach him, fearing for their safety.

The abandoned puppy was eventually reported to animal control, who then reached out to Dakalb County Animal Services. He had severe scabs all over his body, along with eye infections.

But Dempsey wasted no time in winning the hearts of several people who went by. The abandonment puppy was quickly taken in by the Friends of DeKalb County Animal Services, an Atlanta-based volunteer organization, along with Friends.

Dempsey was covered with healing scabs all over his body, thanks to the tireless work of the organization, Stacey Greenwald, brought him to the veterinarian for medical care and treatments. The most crucial reward for Stacey, who has been saving dogs for the past seven years, was the love she gave to Dempsey.

Dempsey started to get better in just three weeks. Dempsey is now a dog no, only two months after someone abandoned him outside a pharmacy to die of injuries or extreme cruelty, that Stacey was ever met. He was delivered to the DeKalb County Animal Services from the poor and neglected dog.

As the ailing dog finds his forever home, he serves as a reminder of the importance of adopting animals from shelters or rescue organizations, offering them the hope and happiness they so deserve.
