Fah Jam, a curious and resilient five-month-old elephant, is breaking new ground as the first to undergo hydrotherapy at an animal hospital just outside Bangkok.

Renamed Clear Sky, this young elephant currently resides at Nooch Nooch Tropical Garden, where she is receiving dedicated care from director Kampon Tansacha.
Clear Sky faced a challenging start, having lost part of her foot to a snare. However, her road to recovery involves water therapy to strengthen her muscles, a process overseen by vigilant veterinarians.

In just her second hydrotherapy session, Clear Sky still displays some nervousness, as noted by veterinarian Padet Siridumrong in an interview with AFP.
Since her separation from her mother in the wild, Clear Sky has made significant progress. Discovered by villagers in urgent need of milk and with an injured foot, she underwent surgery upon arrival at the zoo.

Now, under the care of the Nooch Nooch Tropical Garden team, her wound has healed, offering hope that she will regain the ability to walk naturally, without the aid of an artificial limb.
Named Clear Sky in anticipation of the support she requires, this wide-eyed five-month-old is on a remarkable journey of relearning to walk through hydrotherapy.

Director Kampon Tansacha and the dedicated veterinary team are committed to providing Clear Sky with the care she needs for a joyful and fulfilling life. The healing power of water therapy holds the promise of a brighter future for this resilient baby elephant.
