In Van Helsing 2, the legendary monster hunter, Gabriel Van Helsing (Hugh Jackman), is brought out of retirement when an ancient evil stirs in the shadows. The movie opens with a cryptic warning that an ancient vampire lord, once thought vanquished, is on the verge of returning to power.

Van Helsing is now older and battle-worn, having lived in seclusion after the events of the first film. He is reluctant to return to the fight, but when he discovers that this new threat has ties to his past, he is drawn back into action.

Van Helsing’s new mission is centered around a lost relic, a powerful artifact capable of raising Dracula himself. As he travels across Europe, he is joined by a young, fierce warrior named Raven (Kristen Stewart), who has her own vendetta against the vampires. Her family was wiped out by the dark forces, and she seeks revenge, but also carries a secret—she’s part of an ancient bloodline, one that makes her crucial in defeating the resurrected vampire lord.

Clint Eastwood plays Van Helsing’s former mentor, who reappears to aid his old apprentice, bringing wisdom and an old-school approach to battling the supernatural.

Together, the trio must navigate dangerous alliances, battling not only vampires but also werewolves and dark sorcery.

In the final act, it’s revealed that Dracula’s resurrection is part of a larger plan to create a new age of darkness. In a shocking twist, Van Helsing discovers that he has a deeper connection to Dracula’s bloodline, forcing him to make a devastating choice between his humanity and the fate of the world.
