Following this announcement, many female stars declared themselves as worthy contenders for being crowned the first ever champion. One of the names was Chelsea Green, who vowed to win the title.
On X, The Hot Mess announced her intentions to pursue the Women’s United States Championship, citing her significant contribution to the division. While expressing dissatisfaction with the title design, Chelsea Green proclaimed herself to be the first-ever champion on SmackDown. Although I think that @WWE probably should have consulted me to design the Women’s United States Championship, I will absolutely take it off their hands & wear it proudly… infact, I’ll wear it better than any of these #Smackdown slobs.
