LA Knight had an incredible showing this week on SmackDown. However, an uninvited guest interrupted the party for The Megastar. The United States Champion competed in an impromptu singles match against Legado Del Fantasma member Humberto Carillo.
Following his dominating victory, Shinsuke Nakamura, who has been out of WWE TV for the last seven months, made his shocking return. A few moments after the match, LA Knight was celebrating with the WWE Universe until a man in black delivered a wicked ‘Kinshasa’ to the 42-year-old. He revealed himself to be The King of Strong Style.
Nakamura has returned to WWE with a character change, looking more sadistic than ever. In fact, it was the first appearance of the Japanese star ever since he was drafted to the blue brand. Shinsuke Nakamura‘s last TV appearance was on the April 22 episode of Raw, where he faced Sheamus.
After seven months of an unexplained absence, it seems WWE finally has a plan for the former Intercontinental Champion on SmackDown. Moreover, his return was expected earlier, but due to a lack of creative direction, WWE pushed his comeback. NAKAMURA IS BACK WITH WAR PAINT ON HIS FACEHE WANTS TO US TITLE 👀👀👀👀👀👀#Smackdown pic.

His appearance and attitude have been among the key factors as to why fans love him so much.
However, he revealed that this attitude often leads to the WWE management being upset with him. LA Knight (via WWE)Speaking with SPORTbible, Knight said that he likes to be real and authentic instead of following a preplanned structure. Whenever there is an opportunity for a promo, he tries to keep it as real as possible.
However, this leads to disagreements between him and the creative team multiple times. Sometimes I get myself in trouble because I like to work a little more off the cuff, and sometimes they [WWE management] like a little structure. I try to meet them in the middle on that and for me.
