Travis Kelce’s stock is on the rise. At this point, he isn’t only the star tight end for the two-time defending champions Kansas City Chiefs. The nine-time Pro Bowler has also taken a stab at acting and hosting as he starts mapping out his post-NFL career.
Kelce recently signed on to host Prime Video’s “Are You Smarter Than a Celebrity?” which is a spin-off of the highly popular game show “Are You Smarter Than a 5th Grader?”
The 35-year-old had to spend considerable time in Los Angeles to shoot the show, which meant having to be apart from his family and friends during the offseason.
This big career move entailed spending time away from his girlfriend Taylor Swift, who herself has to balance an extremely busy work schedule with her personal life. Being the supportive partner that she is, however, the “Eras Tour” headliner still made sure to go out of her way to be with Kelce.
In a recent exclusive interview with Nischelle Turner of Entertainment Tonight, Kelce spilled the beans on Swift’s endearing gesture while he was shooting the show. Apparently, the multi-Grammy Award-winning singer/songwriter traveled all the way to LA to pay her beau a visit on set.
“Taylor was there and obviously, I always love having Taylor’s support,” Kelce said. “I’ve always had that support for my family and friends. I’d do the same for them in every way of life that I can. Just very fortunate for that for sure.”
Kelce clearly appreciated the visit from his gal despite the fact that he wasn’t able to spend as much time with her on set as he would have wanted to. At the end of the day, it’s the thought that counts.
You have to give a lot of credit to this power couple for how much effort they’ve both put into keeping their bond strong amid their extremely demanding careers. At this point, now that they’re more than a year in, it appears that they’re still going as strong as ever.
