Did Travis Kelce declare “I’m Going to Be a Dad!” revealing Taylor Swift’s pregnancy in September 2024? No, that’s not true: There is no evidence Kelce said Swift was pregnant.

The site that made the claim was registered in Vietnam and lists no owners or publishers. No reliable news sources reported on the couple’s supposed pregnancy.

The claim appeared in a post (archived here) made on Facebook on September 24, 2024. It said:

The post making the claim did not offer any evidence to support Swift’s purported pregnancy. A Google News search (archived here) showed that no reliable news sources reported on the couple’s supposed pregnancy, and it’s a subject that would draw widespread attention if true.

The post said the couple posted on social media about their pregnancy. Lead Stories could not locate such posts made to Swift’s Facebook, Instagram, TikTok or X accounts, or Kelce’s Facebook, Instagram or X accounts that would confirm the claim.

The post stated a “full story” could be found in the comments. There were links to two (archived here) stories (archived here) unrelated to the pregnancy claim, both from website viral.drinkfood.info, which is not a credible news source. According to the internet-domain registry Whois, the site was registered (archived here) in March 2023 in Vietnam, but the site itself does not list any owners or publishers. A Google search (archived here) of the website itself did not bring up results for “Taylor Swift pregnancy,” nor did another Google search (archived here) for “Kelce dad.”

The post also stated there was an “ultrasound” verifying the pregnancy. A search (archived here) of Google News did not bring up results to back that up.

Lead Stories contacted Kelce’s and Swift’s publicists and will update this story if responses are received.

The claim comes after Swift had posted (archived here) her endorsement of Kamala Harris in the 2024 presidential election to her Instagram, which she signed “Childless cat lady” — a reference to earlier remarks made by Republican vice presidential candidate JD Vance.
