In Deadpool & Wolverine, Ryan stars as—no surprise—Deadpool while Blake makes a masked cameo as Lady Deadpool, the female variant from an alternative universe. Meanwhile, their kids Inez, 7, and Olin, born in 2023—who are siblings to James, 9, and Betty, 4—are also credited with smaller roles in the superhero film. ICYMI, Inez made an appearance as Kid Pool, while Olin was revealed to be Baby Pool.
Ahead of the July 22 world premiere of the Marvel movie—also starring Hugh Jackman—Ryan took the opportunity to share just how grateful he is to have such a tight knit crew. “I want to start by saying thank you to my wife Blake, who is here,” he shared during his speech on stage. “I want to thank my kids James, Inez, Betty, Olin, who are here: I hope that, if I’m lucky, this moment will be the most traumatic thing—that is, the contents of this movie—that happens in your wondrous life.
”He added, “I love that my entire family is here. ”And if you’re wondering whether there could be a fifth member making a cameo sometime in the future, Ryan hinted that there’s always a possibility. “The more the merrier,” Ryan recently joked to E!
