Michael Schumacher‘s son Mick Schumacher had a great shot at proving his racing mettle in Formula 1 after joining the Haas F1 team. The German failed to amass results impressive enough to cement his place on the grid. However, Schumacher Jr.
still managed a reserve role at Mercedes and continues to race for Alpine in the World Endurance Championship. A majority of the teams were open to acquiring newer drivers under their lineup for the 2025 season. Mick Schumacher had remained an option for Haas, Sauber which would ultimately become Audi, and even Mercedes.
However, none of the teams acquired the 25-year-old as he remains out of Formula 1 for the third year in a row. Amidst this, Schumacher Jr’s uncle Ralf Schumacher commented on his nephew’s state. The 49-year-old claimed that Formula 1 was a ‘crazy sport’ and further questioned would his nephew be a reserve driver or focus on his WEC duties.
