Sky Sports analyst Bernie Collins has shared her thoughts on McLaren’s recent form this campaign. The Woking-based team finished P6 and P8 at the Brazilian Grand Prix after a woeful performance last Sunday. McLaren has succeeded tremendously as a team in terms of performance throughout the season.
The Papayas stand atop the Constructors’ Championship charts with 593 points. However, the team has lost significant points during specific races as well. Collins has pinpointed such shortfalls to the lack of trust between the Papayas’ drivers and their pit wall.
She has claimed that a good rapport with clear communication must be built to exponentially increase their results. The biggest thing for me seems to be this indecision or lack of trust between driver and pitwall that has caused hesitation in some decisions at some points in the year.
