Starting from P17, he shocked everyone up and down the paddock alongside the F1 fans who were tuning in from all over the globe, securing the win taking advantage of a red-flag incident mid-way to the race. Following the result, Max Verstappen‘s father Jos Verstappen has put out a major statement.
He has asserted that his son is the best amidst the recent backlash the former got for his tussles with McLaren’s Lando Norris. Jos strongly insisted that his son is the best driver on the modern grid of the pinnacle of motor racing! He has shown who is the very best.
And certainly to all those English journalists, ex-drivers, and commentators. I think Max was insane today. I’ve been through a lot with him, but today was one of the best.
