Red Bull driver Max Verstappen will start P17 at the Brazilian Grand Prix (5-place grid penalty) after failing to make it out of Q2 on Sunday at Interlagos. He stood P12 in Q2 after a red flag was deployed due to Aston Martin driver Lance Stroll‘s crash. Max Verstappen‘s season has gone from bad to worse over the past few races.
The Dutchman has been hit with a five-place grid penalty for the race due to a change in his power unit. He has moreover failed to win in any of the last ten races. Verstappen failed to improve after Lance Stroll crashed with only a minute remaining at the end of Q2.
