Max Verstappen takes feisty jibe at critics over Mexican GP fallout

Max Verstappen‘s antics at the Mexican GP involving Lando Norris were criticized heavily over the past week. The Dutchman was hit with an extremely rough penalty of over 20s due to pushing Norris off-track. The Ex-F1 driver Johnny Herbert was amongst the stewards present during Verstappen’s verdict of the penalty.

Hence, the reigning world champion has hit back at Herbert and others due to their recent criticism. Jos Verstappen had previously accused Johnny Herbert of being biased against Max Verstappen amidst the latter’s 20-second penalty. This accusation was also linked with the claims of the sport being biased towards the British people in Formula 1.

However, Herbert claimed he had good chats with the Dutchman and applauded the reigning world champion. Max Verstappen, however, was having none of the comments from the critics. The Dutchman took a massive jibe at the people ill-talking his moves at the Mexican GP.

Verstappen claimed that if the critics knew so much during their careers then they would’ve been world champions instead of him. If they had all known that during their own careers, they could have been world champions.
