Lando Norris asserts he has ‘no respect’ for Max Verstappen’s reckless driving at Mexican GP

McLaren driver Lando Norris has clarified his stance on Red Bull’s Max Verstappen after their clash at Mexico last weekend. Verstappen recklessly pushed Norris off the track and raced unprofessionally at the Autodromo Hermanos Rodriguez. Lando Norris and Max Verstappen have been involved in tussles for the better part of the season.

In some cases, the Brit has been at fault, and in others, the Dutchman was to blame. Last weekend, Verstappen was the one at fault and was also given a 20-second time penalty by the FIA. Norris has claimed that he holds no respect for the three-time world champion’s move at the Mexico GP.

He also stated that Verstappen must learn to race clean, as the 24-year-old holds a lot of respect for him as a person. I still have a lot of respect for Max and everything he does – not respect for what he did last weekend, but respect for him as a person, and also what he’s achieved. But it’s not for me to speak to him.
