Red Bull set to rename $1.1 billion F1 team post-Daniel Ricciardo exit

Red Bull’s sister team Visa Cash App RB or simply VCARB has undergone multiple changes over the past couple of years in the sport. The major change was the name of the team and the drivers’ lineup. Daniel Ricciardo was recently ousted from RB mid-season and replaced by Liam Lawson.

Hence, as the team looks ahead to the 2024 season finale, they have been rumored to once again rename themselves. VCARB (formerly AlphaTauri) accepted Visa and CashApp as their title sponsor for the 2024 season which received its fair share of hatred. Multiple people berated the awkward name change and decided to collectively refer to the team as Racing Bulls or simply RB.

The Faenza-based constructor has decided to listen to their fans and finally set a new name for the team. According to Formula. hu, RB will be renamed to its full form as Racing Bulls in the coming season.

However, this doesn’t mean Visa and CashApp will no longer be the team sponsors. Both the American giants will continue to sponsor heavily in the team. Moreover, the current logo will witness a change as the two giants will no longer be so prominent.
