As WWE approaches the tail end of 2024, the speculation encircling The Rock‘s return has jacked up. Having last shown up for a one-off appearance at October’s Bad Blood PLE, The Great One is believed to be done with WWE for at least the ongoing year. His arch-nemesis, Cody Rhodes, recently spoke to Adrian Hernandez at the Complex Con.
He knows what’s up with The Final Boss. The Undisputed WWE Champion affirmed that whenever Rock comes back, he’ll be coming after someone Cody knows. The latter said he’s not uninformed about what to expect from the 52-year-old wrestling great.
As one might’ve inferred from Rhodes’ rhetorical statements, he’s alluding to himself being on the Hollywood actor’s radar. And how could he stay quiet? Turning the clock back to Raw after WrestleMania XL, the Black Adam star made it clear to Cody that their story was about to begin.
Cody also urged the fans to keep churning the rumors for WrestleMania next year as they’ll end up getting surprised with what’s actually planned. Cody Rhodes speaks on the rumors of The Rock and Stone Cold at WrestleMania 41 pic. twitter.
