Paul Heyman has been absent from WWE television since late June. Amid his prolonged hiatus from programming, Heyman has made public appearances outside of the company. Heyman’s most recent appearance came at the Big Event NY, where he linked up with a familiar face.
The veteran finally reunited with former WWE personality Kayla Braxton. In a clip that has emerged online, Heyman can be seen sharing a warm embrace with Braxton. The latter departed WWE around the same time as Heyman’s last appearance on television.
During her stint, Braxton shared several hilarious moments with The Bloodline’s special counsel on SmackDown. In fact, this led to Roman Reigns labeling the backstage interviewer as Heyman’s “girlfriend. ”Braxton would show up unannounced behind the scenes, scaring Heyman before asking him hard-hitting questions.
Later, the 33-year-old revealed how the former ECW booker helped her off-screen. Following her departure, Braxton expressed her gratitude to multiple backstage figures, including Paul E. Moreover, she mentioned that the WWE Hall of Famer had worked hard to elevate her career.
