Raw GM Adam Pearce found himself busy during the Crown Jewel weekend. After receiving an RKO on the show, Pearce had to shift focus to the red brand on Sunday. In the opening segment, the head honcho interrupted Liv Morgan to a thunderous ovation from the Riyadh crowd.
As such, a fan on X pointed out how surprising it was to see the audience getting hyped for Pearce. And well, the latter did not take too kindly to it. Pearce responded to the fan, claiming that the Saudi crowd showed respect when he came out.
Moreover, he lambasted the fan for not doing the same. The former NWA World Heavyweight Champion seemingly had enough of the disrespect. In fact, Pearce took a shot at his counterpart SmackDown GM Nick Aldis following Crown Jewel.
The 46-year-old accused Aldis of not intervening while his superstar, Randy Orton, hit him with the RKO. Speaking of his appearance on Raw, Pearce condoned Morgan’s parking lot attack on Rhea Ripley. In addition to that, he announced that a new #1 contender would be crowned in a battle royal.
Iyo Sky ended up emerging victorious, earning a shot at the Women’s World Championship. Because they have respect. Try it sometime.
