Alpine star claims Max Verstappen is ‘working his bu*t off’ to win fourth F1 world championship

After the 2024 Brazilian Grand Prix, the fight for the coveted driver’s championship has tilted significantly in the favor of Max Verstappen. The Dutchman is now 62 points ahead of second-place Lando Norris in the title tussle. Max Verstappen was pushed to bring out his absolute A-game at the Brazilian Grand Prix.

He managed to win the race despite starting from P17 and following the event, second-place finisher Esteban Ocon openly backed the former to win the title. Moreover, he asserted that Verstappen is working incredibly hard to win his fourth world championship. If I look at what Max shows, he would really deserve to win (the championship).

He works his bu*t off every race. He takes pole positions, even with a car that is not the fastest at the moment. That car is still very fast, but no longer the best.

But I do hope that he wins in the end, because he would deserve it. Esteban Ocon via MotorsportRed Bull has not had the fastest car in the sport for quite some time this year. Before Interlagos, Verstappen’s last Grand Prix win came in Round 10 of the ongoing season.

Since then, he has had to fight extremely hard to keep finishing in the top positions. He has earned the world championship. That was a stunning drive. The conditions were tricky on a demanding track, and he dealt with it supremely.

Johnny Herbert via GPBlogVerstappen is seen by many as one of the best drivers to ever step foot into F1. He proved this once again by producing a magical drive around the extremely wet/tricky Interlagos racing circuit. It was not easy to keep the cars on track but Verstappen was able to do everything to perfection.
