Kansas City Chiefs star Travis Kelce and teammate Patrick Mahomes were the victims of burglaries last month, and it appears investigators have made a breakthrough in the formerās case.
A watch belonging to the star tight end has been recovered in Providence, Rhode Island, nearly 1,400 miles from his home.
According to ABC News, the watch was found amid investigatorsā quest to bring a close to a series of break-ins, including those at the homes of Kelce, Mahomes, and Dallas Cowboys defensive tackle Linval Joseph.
Still, it hasnāt been confirmed that the timepiece was stolen during the burglary on October 7. Initial reports noted that the sum of $20,000 was stolen, but there was no mention of a watch.
The Cass County Sheriffās Office and Leawood Police Department are investigating the incidents, with the FBI reportedly assisting.
