Presently, Leclerc sits third in the standings, 79 points behind Max Verstappen. While Lando Norris only has a gap of 57 points to the Dutch driver. Subsequently, the Monegasque driver admitted that he would need some luck to have a shot at winning the championship.

Although, the US GP winner emphasized that one cannot rely on luck in Formula 1. With the drivers… Even if we do everything perfectly, I feel it will require a little bit of luck to try and get that title, and we cannot rely on luck. Charles Leclerc said, as reported by RacingNews365Moreover, Charles Leclerc asserted that taking the drivers’ title seemed unlikely for the Scuderia this year.

Nevertheless, the 27-year-old will continue to have hopes till it becomes mathematically impossible to defeat Verstappen and Norris. So the drivers’ seems to be quite unlikely, but again, I’ll believe in it until it’s mathematically impossible, but trickier.
