Red Bull team principal Christian Horner has shut down rumors of a future move for Ferrari driver Carlos Sainz. The 30-year-old Spaniard is set to join Williams Racing in 2025 after spending four seasons with the Maranello-based team. Carlos Sainz‘s departure was announced from Ferrari earlier this season, which made several teams pursue him as a driver.

Sainz was rumored to be linked with a move to Mercedes as well as Red Bull. However, all speculations ended when the four-time race winner signed for the Grove-based team. Rumors have since been going around that the Milton-Keynes-based team still wants to sign the Spaniard in the future.

However, Christian Horner has set the record clean by stating that Sainz is not a part of his team’s plans. Sainz? No, Carlos is committed to Williams and is not part of our plans in 2025.
