From donating food to funding schools to helping essential workers in need, pop singer Ciara and her husband, Seattle Seahawks quarterback Russell Wilson, have always been charitable and they make sure their children are as well. Ciara and Russell Wilson share three kids, 6-year-old Future Zahir (who Ciara had with rapper Future), 3-year-old Sienna Princess Wilson, and 3-month-old Win Harrison Wilson. The proud parents have not been shy about using their platforms to call attention to those struggling during the COVID-19 pandemic, and they teach and encourage their kids to also be philanthropic and give back.

“We’re big believers in ‘lead by example,’ and having conversations with our kids to remind them of how blessed they are and that, ‘To who much is given much is required’” said Ciara. “There’s a simple thing that we do: If they get a new toy, we’re kind of taking the approach of, ‘Let’s give some toys back. ’ They’ve been really blessed, even with clothing and shoes.

”“It’s been one of the best feelings in the world and a huge blessing to know that we can give back in a time where so much is being taken away. We don’t take that for granted,” says Ciara. “Our kids have way more opportunity and access than we had when we were younger but because of our journey growing up, we’ll never forget that.
