Cody Rhodes reveals when he plans to retire from pro wrestling

Cody Rhodes has been reigning at the top of WWE as the Undisputed WWE Champion. Currently on the best run of his career, there looks to be no unforeseeable retirement for The American Nightmare as of now. However, recently, Rhodes surprisingly provided a timeline for his farewell from professional wrestling.

Speaking on The Flagrant podcast, Rhodes shared that he intends to wrestle actively in WWE until he’s 45. At 39, he believes he can go full-time for the next 5–6 years but aims to retain his strength into his later years. Therefore, he’s likely to step back from full-time wrestling after reaching 45.

I’m 39 now. I feel like I can go full-time, 100%, and be the best and be at my best and be the standard until 45. I don’t know why I’ve kind of put that number in my mind.

Hence, he plans to shift focus to family life after 45, wrapping up his active WWE career for good.
