Kevin Owens has been unhinged for the last few weeks on SmackDown. After being at loggerheads with Randy Orton, The Prizefighter finally hospitalized The Viper last week on SmackDown. In order to take a stand for his mentor, the Undisputed WWE Champion Cody Rhodes called out Owens on last night’s SmackDown with revenge on his mind.
The American Nightmare kicked off SmackDown with an unusually tense look. He wasted no time in calling out Kevin Owens to settle their differences once and for all. Rhodes even mentioned that he is willing to invade Owens’ home in pursuit of his vengeance for Orton’s critical condition last week.
However, instead he was greeted by SmackDown GM Nick Aldis, who revealed Owens is being dealt internally after he performed the banned ‘Piledriver’ on Orton. The 39-year-old was not convinced by this move as he went off on the GM and persuaded him to bring back Owens. BRO CODY RHODES JUST CUT ONE OF THE MOST PASSIONATE PROMOS OF HIS CAREER #Smackdown pic.
