Now, former F1 driver David Coulthard has highlighted that the 27-year-old had showed his capabilities yet again. Verstappen had a few on-track incidents with title contender Lando Norris in recent weeks. Critics slammed the Dutchman’s driving over these clashes.
However, Max Verstappen refused to change his way of racing despite the two-time penalties at the Mexican GP. Coulthard reckoned that the Red Bull driver’s victory at Interlagos would calm the growing anger against him. Moreover, DC highlighted that Max Verstappen had showed yet again that he is his ‘own man’ who speaks his mind.

David Coulthard claimed that performances like these were the reason he fell in love with Formula 1 in the first place. The 53-year-old reckoned that he loves to see drivers like Verstappen push themselves to the limit and pull off unbelievable drives.
