Formula 1 is a global sport. In recent years, the pinnacle of motorsport has expanded across the world with new races in countries such as Qatar and Saudi Arabia. Moreover, the US now has three races on the F1 calendar.

Now, F1 CEO Stefano Domenicali has admitted that some European races will be rotated in the future to make way for the new additions. The 2024 F1 season has a record number of rounds at 24. This leaves virtually no room for more races without sacrificing existing venues.

Stefano Domenicali has now affirmed that F1 will soon be sharing information about rotational European GP, hosted on different tracks every year. Lewis Hamilton has been persistent about the sport returning to Africa in the near future. Domenicali mentioned that F1 must find the right balance in scheduling new races while retaining the economic benefits. This would allow the pinnacle of motorsport to grow in new markets.
