WWE clearly has put a lot of trust into Austin Theory. Although he may not yet be the huge superstar that Vince McMahon thought he would be, the promotion has inserted him into some huge roles. He has beaten John Cena at WrestleMania and has appeared on screen with huge names like The Rock.
In a recent interview with Chris Van Vliet, Theory revealed some behind-the-scenes details about his segment with The People’s Champion. Prior to their segment, the 27-year-old received a text from one of the writers asking him to come with them. Theory met up with some of the WWE higher-ups, like Triple H and Nick Khan.
Then, they all made their way to meet The Brahma Bull so that no one would spot them. They all met up inside a tour bus so that nobody saw The Rock. Thus, ensuring that his appearance on WWE programming did not get leaked.
