Things are not well with one of the most consistent tag teams WWE’s had in recent years. And they’re none other than The Street Profits. The team’s one-half, Angelo Dawkins, took to X and warned every single superstar to be wary of him as he’s going to drop them.
Dawkins and his partner, Montez Ford, have undergone significant character change in recent weeks. It all began when Ford spoke to the Daily Mail about his frustrations with The Street Profits‘ booking in WWE. He alluded to not being in the conversation of the top tag teams because of losing momentum every time he and Angelo build it up.
Montez asserted that the fans will never invest their time and money into such a duo who’s entire journey in WWE has been marred by stop-and-go creative. After doing this interview, Ford posted a cryptic note on Instagram that appeared to some as if he’s leaving WWE. However, in hindsight, all this was a ruse to gain more traction around Street Profits.
Although Tez and Dawkins being upset with their current standing in the company is true, they’re just not exiting the company. Fueled by hate. I’m dropping everyone in my way.

It stated that both members of The Street Profits are locked into WWE deals. Moreover, their recent social media stunts were likely a shot at gaining attention and nothing more, the report added. Also, Montez Ford is involved with some outside projects as well.

Hopefully, the situation is clear as daylight now. Did The Street Profits turn heel on SmackDown? Last Friday on SmackDown, The Street Profits took on Motor City Machine Guns for the WWE tag team titles.
In the closing moments, Tommaso Ciampa, out of nowhere, interfered to cost the challengers. Ciampa was seemingly upset at the fact that the Profits were given priority over DIY. After that, the Machine Guns went to Montez Ford and Angelo Dawkins to apologize for how the title match ended the way it did. RELATEDWomen’s WarGames is on! That killer instinct was exactly that missing piece of the puzzle, which might’ve been aching the Street Profits for a while. It’d be interesting to see if they manage to crawl their way back to the top once again.
