This week’s SmackDown will be headlined by Sami Zayn coming over to have a word with Roman Reigns, accompanied by The Usos. However, before that, Jimmy Uso issued a warning to Zayn, saying he doesn’t need to meddle in the family business. Big Jim cut his little brother Jey off, who was speaking to Cathy Kelley after Raw.
Jey still wants it to happen, but Jimmy further asserted that if Sami were to show up on SmackDown, things would be more heated than ever. Before that, Zayn came out on Raw to explain what transpired at Crown Jewel. As Roman and his cousins were in trenches with Solo Sikoa‘s Bloodline all over them, Zayn made the save to a thunderous welcome from the crowd.
The Syrian-born wrestler had done his job but eventually took out Reigns with a Helluva Kick, which was accidental. Jey, while confronting Sami, asked whether he planned on doing it. They were soon interrupted by Jimmy, who claimed that The Great Liberator indeed hit Roman on purpose.

But when he got in there and the four of them took out Sikoa and his men, it felt like old times to him, said Zayn. Having said that, the former Honorary Uce bailed out, saying he doesn’t want to go back again. Jey stopped the latter and left him with an invitation to SmackDown, later referring to him as Sami Uso. Almost everyone saw it coming, but no one envisioned how it’d feel in actuality.
That turn was solely responsible for Zayn becoming arguably the most beloved babyface WWE had seen in many years.
