Lewis Hamilton congratulates Max Verstappen on ‘amazing’ victory at 2024 Brazilian GP

On Sunday, Red Bull driver Max Verstappen went on to win the Brazilian Grand Prix despite starting P17 on the grid. He has since received praise from fans and drivers for the victory, including seven-time world champion Lewis Hamilton. Max Verstappen has had a mixed run of form this season.

He leads the drivers’ championship by 62 points but was winless in over 10 races until the race at Interlagos. He paced around a tricky afternoon drenched in rain to win the Brazil GP in style. Lewis Hamilton thereafter had some words of appreciation for the 27-year-old’s impressive performance.
