Red Bull driver Max Verstappen has cited some similarities between himself and seven-time world champion Michael Schumacher. Verstappen is often regarded as one of the greatest drivers of the modern F1 era. Max Verstappen is known for his aggressive yet effective style of driving.
The 27-year-old won the Brazilian GP last weekend solely on his skills after starting P17 on the grid. Michael Schumacher was also known to have quite an aggressive approach while racing during his prime years. Verstappen has thereafter said that his attempt to deliver maximum efforts on track is what connects him to Schumacher.
He has also highlighted the need for using common sense to excel amongst the ranks in Formula 1. I think that’s what connects me with drivers like Michael. He also never left anything untried to have the greatest possible chance of success.
