Max Verstappen’s Brazilian GP triumph a good sign for Red Bull’s 2025 campaign

Max Verstappen‘s 2024 campaign has been a rollercoaster. The three-time world champion started out strong with back-to-back race victories. However, Red Bull fell behind McLaren and Ferrari midway through the season.

Now, Verstappen is back in command after an incredible victory at the Brazilian GP. Red Bull fell to third in Constructors’ standings after the Mexican GP. This highlighted that Milton Keynes simply lacked the pace it enjoyed during Verstappen’s dominant 2023 run.

Although, Sergio Perez’s poor form has played a role in this slump. Nevertheless, as the 2024 season inches closer to the end, Max Verstappen‘s win at Interlagos would serve as a major motivation boost for Milton Keynes. As the reigning world champions try to carry this momentum into next season.

RELATEDMercedes was already preparing for a future without Lewis Hamilton before Ferrari switchMax Verstappen proved he can still dominate the grid Verstappen had gone winless for almost four months before the Brazilian GP. The Dutch driver’s on-track tussles with Lando Norris was met with backlash from critics. However, Max Verstappen’s performance in Sao Paulo proved that he can still annihilate the competition.

Milton Keynes might’ve finally found the right path for car development. This will translate to better performance in 2025 and would even make Max Verstappen more comfortable with the car.

If Red Bull can provide the right car balance to Verstappen, it is more than likely that the 27-year-old will emerge victorious. As was the case in Brazil. Thus, the Interlagos race was a testament that the team was back on-track in its battle at the front of the grid.

With Max Verstappen essentially having one hand on the 2024 title already. However, it remains to be seen if Milton Keynes can start the 2025 season on a strong note. RELATEDMichael Schumacher’s son should give up on F1 dreams
