still managed a reserve role at Mercedes and continues to race for Alpine in the World Endurance Championship. A majority of the teams were open to acquiring newer drivers under their lineup for the 2025 season. Mick Schumacher had remained an option for Haas, Sauber which would ultimately become Audi, and even Mercedes.

However, none of the teams acquired the 25-year-old as he remains out of Formula 1 for the third year in a row. Amidst this, Schumacher Jr’s uncle Ralf Schumacher commented on his nephew’s state. The 49-year-old claimed that Formula 1 was a ‘crazy sport’ and further questioned would his nephew be a reserve driver or focus on his WEC duties.

Regardless, Formula 1 was ‘unrealistic’ for the 25-year-old unless some driver dropped out due to illness. Formula 1 is crazy. The question is, who will be the replacement driver and where?

Or will he now focus on his endurance racing career? Unfortunately, Formula 1 is unrealistic for Mick unless someone leaves due to illness. Mick has had to go through a lot lately. Among other things, he found out from Alpine’s mail that he was not going to be in the car. You are certainly disappointed, but you can face the decision.
