Red Bull reportedly faces $20 million demand to poach Franco Colapinto away from Williams

Rumors have circulated that Christian Horner wants the 21-year-old within Red Bull’s ambit next year. Now, as per reports, Williams has put a $20 million price tag on breaking Franco Colapinto‘s contract with the Grove-based team. It is believed that James Vowles is reluctant to lose the services of Colapinto.

However, the Grove-based team would accept this eight-figure amount if Red Bull does want the Argentine driver. This amount might not be a problem for Horner as he could recover this sum through Franco Colapinto’s sponsors who have backed the 21-year-old.
