The 11/11 edition of Monday Night Raw served as a double taping for next week’s show. Although taped shows are usually uneventful, WWE had a couple of surprises up its sleeve this time. A segment setting up the women’s WarGames match for Survivor Series took place during the show.
While the heel team found their fifth member in Candice LeRae, the babyface team stood one person short. It didn’t take long for them to reveal the final member, a returning Rhea Ripley. Mami stormed down to the ring and faced off with her rivals, Liv Morgan and Raquel Rodriguez.
As such, a brawl between both sides ensued, which ended with Ripley’s team standing tall. In a photo caught by the fans in attendance, The Eradicator then proceeded to show the middle finger to the opposite side. To no surprise, Ripley showed up wearing a mask following an orbital injury sustained weeks ago.
During the October 29 edition of NXT, Morgan and Rodriguez brutalized Ripley in the parking lot, leaving her in a bloody mess. Although it started off as one of the hottest programs in WWE, the rivalry jumped the shark at Bad Blood. Nevertheless, it will be interesting to see whether Rhea Ripley regains the title.
It might not be an easy task with another #1 contender also gunning for the Women’s World Championship. What else transpired during the 11/18 WWE Raw taping? With Survivor Series less than 3 weeks away, WWE built toward the PLE during the Raw tapings.
In addition to Rhea Ripley’s return, a massive surprise awaited for The Bloodline saga. After Seth Rollins shut down his offer, Solo Sikoa and the faction distracted The Visionary during his match against Bronson Reed. Elsewhere, Rey Mysterio and Zelina Vega defeated Chad Gable and Ivy Nile in a mixed tag-team match.
