But did it include something else—perhaps an engagement ring? The rumor mill started churning when Swifties noticed what they described as a “mysterious” detail in photos from the event, shared by Patrick Mahomes’ wife, Brittany.

Fans zoomed in on pictures showing Swift enjoying a cocktail while posing with Mahomes, Lyndsay Bell, and her best friend, Ashley Avignone. Some fans claimed that Swift’s left ring finger appeared “blurred,” leading to speculation that the singer might be hiding an engagement ring. The assumption? That Swift and Kelce had gotten engaged, but she was keeping it under wraps for now.

To most, it seems like a stretch. It’s hard to imagine that a blurry finger in a photo could be solid evidence of an engagement ring being intentionally hidden. And honestly, if Swift didn’t want her ring seen, it would have been easier to simply not wear it. But of course, the rumors continue to circulate.
