In a resurfaced incident from 2023, it’s been learned that Jacob Fatu allegedly ghosted a nonprofit organization named Jake’s Hope of Network. As per a Reddit user, Prestigious-Art-3564, who was associated with the nonprofit at that time, Fatu didn’t reimburse the money that JNOH paid him to appear at a local wrestling show. The amount was disclosed to be $2633, which included travel and accommodation.
Jacob did not show up on the day of the event, quoting a family emergency. But as per the user, the 32-year-old lied. He also accused the current Bloodline member of similar wrongdoings to other organizations too.
Yesterday, this story was revived. Another Reddit user, CaliggyJack, sought to gain an update on the situation, saying he had Googled it but couldn’t find anything new. The original user, Prestigious-Art-3564, responded by saying that Jacob Fatu has yet to pay back the charity.
After that, Sports Illustrated took the initiative to dig into it. They contacted Jake’s Network of Hope and asked for their stance on Fatu. Jenn Harper, the director of development, said that his organization and the WWE Superstar are addressing the matter privately.
