The final day of end-of-year awards is here, and the odds are in Aaron Judge’s favor to win his second career MVP. He faced tough competition from Kansas City’s Bobby Witt Jr. as well as his own teammate Juan Soto, but Judge’s historic performance with the bat has him as the favorite in a loaded field while Shohei Ohtani remains the favorite on the NL side even without the two-way superstar throwing a pitch in 2024.
It’s a quiet day on the site leading into the MVP announcements later tonight. To start us off, Matt goes to make the case for Blake Snell as a free agent signing a year after he was one of the most closely connected names to the Yankees. Then, David hands out the report card for this year’s AL Rookie of the Year, Luis Gil.
Questions/Prompts: 1. How many of the first-place votes will Aaron Judge get for MVP? 2.
