Taylor Swift and Travis Kelce are still going strong! So strong that the NFL player rushed from his Kansas City Chiefs practice to hop a plane, hoping to catch his pop star girlfriend play one of her last U.S. dates on the Eras Tour.

The 35-year-old athlete surprised Swift by appearing at the last minute at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis, Indiana, on Saturday, Nov. 2.

Kelce was spotted by fans greeting Swift’s mother, Andrea, and her brother, Austin, and they looked genuinely “shocked” to see him. (You can see the video here.)

“Andrea and Austin didn’t think Travis was going to be able to make it,” a source told Page Six. “They were shocked when he showed up. It was an amazing surprise, and they were thrilled he was able to be there for such an important occasion.” It was a touch-and-go situation because “Travis had practice earlier that day and he wasn’t even sure if he was going to be able to make it.”

The warm greeting Kelce received from both of Swift’s family members shows how tight of a unit they’ve all become. The feeling is mutual in the Kelce family, too. The “Shake It Off” singer was side-by-side with Donna Kelce in the family’s suite at the Kansas City Chiefs game against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers on Monday, Nov. 4.

“Taylor has really been integrated into the family,” an insider revealed to Us Weekly in March. “They have fully embraced her. It’s a whole new world and chapter for her.” A second source noted that it was a big deal to Kelce how “seamlessly Taylor blends in with all of them.” It shows how important this relationship is to both of them — they always find time for each other even though their jobs keep them booked and busy.

Swift shared that they made that promise to each other in a December 2023 interview with Time. When you say a relationship is public, that means I’m going to see him do what he loves, we’re showing up for each other, other people are there and we don’t care,” she said. “The opposite of that is you have to go to an extreme amount of effort to make sure no one knows that you’re seeing someone. And we’re just proud of each other.”

Now that they’ve hit the one-year mark and Swift will have some notable time off, fans will undoubtedly be bringing the engagement chatter back to the forefront. That next major milestone for Kelce and Swift feels like it’s closer on the horizon.
