Last week, SmackDown GM Nick Aldis introduced the new Women’s United States Championship. With many female stars vying to win the title, WWE announced a tournament to determine the inaugural champion. On the latest episode of SmackDown, the first match took place with a triple threat match involving Bayley, Candice LeRae, and B-Fab.
B-Fab impressed while Bayley and LeRae showed why they are veterans. After an enthralling bout, Bayley pinned B-Fab via a rollup and advanced to the next round. Moreover, she got yet another win over LeRae amid their ongoing rivalry.
The Role Model will now have an opportunity to make history and add to her already-spectacular resume. A four-time Women’s Champion, Bayley could be the one to establish the title. It won’t be an easy task with other top talent like Bianca Belair and Jade Cargill also in the hunt.

In the weeks that followed, the former Damage CTRL leader got the better of Candice LeRae. With their feud looking far from over, it will be interesting to see how the Women’s Speed Champion responds to suffering another loss against Bayley. Prior to SmackDown, WWE CCO Triple H revealed the brackets for the US Title tournament. On the left-hand side of the bracket, Bayley will face the winner of the triple threat involving Bianca Belair, Blair Davenport, and Chelsea Green. Women’s United States Championship (via WWE)On the right-hand side, Jade Cargill will square off against Michin and Piper Niven.
The winner of this match faces the winner from a triple threat match involving Naomi, Tiffany Stratton, and Elektra Lopez. The tournament includes every woman on the SmackDown roster, except for Nia Jax, the current WWE Women’s Champion. The bracket is set.

Hence, WWE might soon introduce another championship for Raw. In addition to that, the finals of the tournament will take place at Saturday’s Night Main Event.
